Social, Policy and Family Studies 5M2181
• This one year Social, Policy and Family Studies course will introduce you to the theory and practice of the key areas of social studies, social care and family studies. This is the ideal starting point if you wish to progress to further studies or gain employment in community-based health settings, especially those related to the family. Students will gain an understanding of a broad range of topics including protection of vulnerable people, intercultural studies, and the impacts of policy change in society. This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May.
