This one-year full time course equips the learner with the vocational skills and knowledge to acquire the theory, principles, practices and techniques underpinning Food Science and Food Processing to enable them to work under supervision in a variety of contexts in the food industry and or to progress to further and or higher education and training. Work placement / work experience may be a core feature/element of programmes in this field facilitating the enhancement of employability and transversal skills. This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May.
