The number of places available may be limited. Applicants should verify specific linked awards and eligibility criteria with the respective Higher Education Institution.

Full-time registered students of GTI may access a range of adult education courses at a reduced fee.

Students may be awarded the opportunity to participate in a 2 or 3 week fully funded European work placement as part of this course.

I was unsure of what I wanted to do with my life, but nursing was always in the back of my mind. The Nursing Studies course in GTI seemed like a brilliant idea to see what life as a nurse would be like, so I applied. It was the best decision of my life, as it cemented the idea of nursing as the career for me. The guidance from the tutors was unparalleled, as they encouraged us to work hard without being overbearing – they often felt more like friends to me.

The course itself was both challenging and intellectually stimulating, as we covered a vast variety of subjects within the course, my favourite was the hands on placement in the hospital. It was this work experience that was most beneficial to me, and now I know that I’ll really enjoy nursing for life! It is as a direct result of this course that I am now studying for my nursing degree at Edge Hill University near Liverpool city.
