Ciara McGagh
I chose the Level 5 Business Studies – Marketing and Sales course as I didn’t feel ready to go straight into university, but I wanted to build on valuable skills that would be transferrable into university and the workforce. During my time spent in GTI so far, I have studied a wide range of topics across modules such as Bookkeeping, Spreadsheet Methods, Marketing Practice and Retail Selling. Studying Marketing and Retail Selling gives you many real-life examples and helps you get a better understanding of both topics.
I have attained better time management skills, interpersonal skills, research skills and IT skills from these modules. It helps a lot that all the tutors are very helpful and are willing to help you no matter what. I would encourage anyone who has an interest in sales and who wants to get a better understanding of marketing to apply to the Business Studies – Marketing and Sales course here at GTI as it opens so many doors not just in education but for potential work opportunities as well.
